Easy Art for Stress Relief and Creative Self-Care
For today’s easy art for creative self-care we explore the beauty of using lines and neurographic softening to create planty doodles, and reflect on the importance of growth and change. Despite interruptions and small steps, every bit of progress is meaningful and worth celebrating. Take time to express yourself through art because it enhances our lives.
Welcome to BETTER WITH ART!
Grab a pen, or two. Markers or other color optional. And join me for some simple easy art-making to calm our minds and relax our bodies.
Taking time to make art is not a waste of time.
If you’d like to know more about the materials I use, you can find more info below the video.

Materials
As mentioned, even just any pen will work. I’m using two sizes of black waterproof marker pens of a brand no longer available. I also use and like MARTCOLOR fineliners, another bargain option available on Amazon.
For color I love my Sharpies, but this week’s Amazon Basics fine tip permanent markers are also good, though I’m not as fond of all of the colors in this set.
Although not all BETTER WITH ART therapeutic art activities will be done on paper or in an art journal, quite a few will be. If you’re interested in the best art journal for my wet, dry, and layered applications, here are more details I keep updating, as the journal I always recommended is no longer available.
If you use any of my Amazon links and make a qualifying purchase, I will make a small commission as an Amazon associate. This does not affect your price, but allows you to support my channel with your new art supplies. So, thanks so much if you do!
If you’d like to see more of more art materials I use that are available on Amazon, you can check out my slowly growing Storefront here.
