Quick Sketches

Quick sketching some snowdrops, not very well, but that’s okay. It was late, and this was it for 48/100 of #The100DayProject.

Looking at it now… I think I really like it more now than I did then. A sort of realistic and abstract merge of style.

I hope you enjoy it, too.

Another quick sketch for 50/100. Halfway through #The100DayProject.

What I know… I need to keep making time for creativity for not just the rest of the challenge, but also after. It’s good for me. I’ve learned that art really is an important aspect of my self-care.

I was stuck in a day-late rut for posting.

Quick strange little flower sketch.

Though maybe since it’s not drawn from life, so to speak, it’s more a doodle than a sketch.

The snowdrops and bee were drawn from a photo and video I took, respectively.

The axolotl required looking at a bunch of Google search result images along with the illustrations of one of my favorite books of the year.
