A Few More Days of Creativity

Still catching up the words for #The100DayProject… A bit of creativity every day for 100 days, for me in my first art journal… #My100DayArtJournal.

8/100 A Sunday-afternoon cut-paper scrap-playing start…

The black scraps reminded me of butterfly wings, so that ‘s what I made them. And decided to decorate them with colorful scraps. Got this far. Wasn’t feeling it. This is as much as I got glued. I kind of wish I’d just left it blank… in part because move of those pink pieces made flower petals I enjoy.

Solitary bloom…

Here are the petals…

Solitary bloom… Beauty from pieces…

Hand-cut acrylics-painted-paper scraps…

Surprised by sunset…

Playing with my acrylics-painted leftovers and scraps again. Lovin’ it.

Two beginnings…

Two beginnings on the 11th day of 100 days of creativity, creating my first art journal. This flower is meant to have some friends… or something… To be continued…

Imagination…

Incomplete image #2 for day 11 of 100 days of creativity in my first art journal. More fun with hand-painted paper scraps. It makes me think of a fairy tale bridge… that should be dark beneath… What does it make you think of?

Responses on Facebook…
Steep cliffs
Mount Rushmore… to which I replied… Interesting…
A pond ad dusk or dawn with interesting foliage about.
I see a temple dome at midnight.

Flowers

Got back to it for #18.

Playing with painted paper and scissors again… 11a/100 finally has a friend… and the sun is shining… and the snow and ice are melting… and I’m going outside for a few minutes…
