Work in progress for #AcrylicLandscape2023… Can Work in progress for #AcrylicLandscape2023… Can I just take this opportunity to say I hate working with reds. I mentioned that in this week’s video, and here we are. Doesn’t look like a murder scene, though, so there’s that. I THOUGHT the red I chose would help me get a decent color for the ground in the reference photo I chose. No. Just, no. Anyway, I may or may not try more to fix this forest floor tomorrow, as well as brighten up my sunbeams. Never stop learning, right? My first acrylic landscape. Ooh, I just saw how much better it looks from a distance. 😆🙂 Approximately 7”x5.5” on random thick textured paper I found in a closet. Liquitex Basics pyrrole red, phthalo blue, cadmium yellow deep hue, transparent mixing white, and I think there may be a tiny bit of ivory black mixed in somewhere.
